Brian Rooney

I specialize in providing assurance and advisory services to clients in the energy and manufacturing industries, as well as entities that operate in Asia. I work hard to make the compliance aspect of my clients’ needs seamless and efficient, so they can focus on expanding their business. My expertise includes working with public and private equity-backed companies with international and domestic operations, complex debt and equity financings, derivatives, and inventory.

My clients appreciate that I listen to their concerns. Whether they want to brainstorm business strategies or have a technical question, they know I’ll assist them with whatever I can. While my colleagues know me for my expertise in oil and gas and international operations, they also know me as someone who cares deeply about the success of our people. I’ve been with the firm more than 10 years — and my greatest source of satisfaction is seeing staff whom I’ve mentored develop into great leaders and professionals.

I belong to the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and the Denver Petroleum Club. I’m the vice-chairman of the board with the Cherry Creek School District Foundation. I received my B.S. in accounting from Calvin University.

Outside of work, my true joy and happiness comes from spending time with my family. My wife and our three kids love being outdoors, and we enjoy hiking, skiing, running, and biking.
