As the Colorado regional managing partner, I focus on developing and growing Plante Moran staff in our firm’s Broomfield, Denver, and Fort Collins offices. I also serve private equity-backed and family-owned companies spanning a broad range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, high-tech, biotech, and commercial services.
Clients appreciate that I’m responsive, proactive, and collaborative. Around the office, colleagues know me for being a technical resource to them, as well as a good sounding board for their ideas and challenges. I’ve been in this field for more than 25 years, and I love that it affords me the privilege of working with a smart, energetic, and eager-to-learn workforce. In fact, it was because I missed staff development so much that I returned to public accounting after being in industry for two years.
I belong to the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs. I’m also active in the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative. I’ve been recognized as the “Adjunct Faculty of the Year” at the University of Denver, where I taught an advanced auditing course for nearly 10 years. I received my B.S. in accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver and my M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
I spend my free time with my wife and two children and a variety of hiking partners. My passion is mountaineering.
