I consider myself to be very outgoing and love working with a variety of clients. Each day is never the same and brings new challenges. In fact, the bigger the challenge, the more fulfilling.
Because of my 30 years of experience, I’ve conducted a number of outside trainings, webinars, and presentations on internal audit, regulatory compliance, FDICIA implementation, and compliance, corporate and board governance, and other related topics. I’ve spoken for the Illinois Bankers Association, the Wisconsin Bankers Association, the Financial Managers Society (FMS), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs.
I’ve been involved with many professional organizations throughout my career, including the AICPA, IIA, FMS, Illinois CPA Society, Wisconsin Institute of CPAs, Illinois Bankers Association, Wisconsin Bankers Association, National Association of Financial Services Auditors, Fiduciary and Investment Risk Management Association, and Bank Directors. I graduated from Rockford College with a B.S. in accounting and mathematics and a double minor in computer science and business administration.
My husband and I love watching our kids compete in their activities. These games, tournaments, and competitions take our family all over the place, including South Carolina, Florida, and California. We also love to go on mini getaways with the kids or even just relax at home. Family time is important to us.
