As a leader of our firm’s healthcare practice in the Rocky Mountain region, I help healthcare providers identify best practices to improve their business operations. I specialize in financial audits and reviews, board governance and education, financial performance reviews, UG audits, and internal controls assessments. My clients include hospitals, physician groups, and long-term care facilities, as well as various nonprofit organizations.
In the more than two decades that I’ve been with the firm, I’m most proud of developing a great team of people and helping to grow our firm’s healthcare practice. I believe that growth is due to our dedicated client service, which comes from listening to and understanding clients’ concerns. I also strive to educate users of the financial statements on what the numbers mean and how it impacts their business.
I frequently speak to clients and their boards about industry trends, organizational performance, outcome reporting, board governance, and financial accounting and reporting standards.
I belong to the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Health and Wellness Committee. In addition, I sit on the board for the Caring for Colorado Foundation. I received my B.S.B.A. in accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
I enjoy hiking with my wife and two boys in our beautiful state and various national parks. I also play in several summer tennis leagues.
