I specialize in providing audit, review, and consultative services to general contractors, specialty subcontractors, heavy highway companies, and other construction industry companies. In addition, I focus on employee benefit plans, specifically 401(k) plans and ESOPs.
Growing the construction practice in the Rocky Mountain region has been my greatest source of pride in my career. When it comes to the construction industry or employee benefit plans, colleagues and clients know they can trust me to be invested in their success. I’ve been told my friendly approach and positive attitude are appreciated by many of my clients.
With approximately 17 years of experience, I’ve been asked to present at local, state, and national construction conferences on technical accounting topics, such as revenue recognition and internal controls. I’ve also participated as a national and local in-person and online faculty for Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) preparatory courses.
I belong to the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, the Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association (CICPAC), and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). I currently sit on the executive committee and board of directors for CICPAC, and I currently am a board member and the Northern Colorado Committee Chair for CFMA Colorado. I previously sat on the board and was treasurer for Northern Colorado United for Youth. I received my degrees in business administration and accounting from Colorado State University.
Outside of work, I enjoy golf, softball, volleyball, and playing music.
