I assist clients with developing a thorough and robust valuation process that meets the needs of their investors and the demands of their regulators. I’m experienced with fair value measurements, reporting guidelines, and SEC reporting.
When I’m working with colleagues and clients, I always try to understand their perspective. When you can see someone’s point of view, it’s easier to tailor a personal solution that meets their needs.
I’m often asked to speak to clients and their boards on investment fund best practices, industry trends and hot topics, and the valuation of investments. I’ve presented at a Financial Research Associates conference and a Capital Roundtable conference on the accounting and valuation matters impacting private equity and venture capital funds.
I belong to the AICPA, the MICPA, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Michigan Venture Capital Association. I earned a B.B.A. in accounting and marketing from the University of Michigan.
After spending so much time in an office or a boardroom, I like to enjoy the outdoors when I have the chance. I love hiking, camping, and adventuring. I also enjoy golfing, skiing, and playing and coaching soccer.
