I advise privately held companies on various tax planning issues, such as buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, incentive compensation plan structuring, and income tax accounting. My primary focus is serving growth-oriented companies, most of which are middle-market businesses in the technology, professional services, and manufacturing industries.
My clients appreciate that I talk to them without a lot of heavy-handed jargon and I use a practical approach when advising them on complex, ever-changing tax laws. Around the office, colleagues know me for my dedication to serving others and my efforts to continuously improve the firm. I’m all about innovation. I’m always looking for a way to do things better and more effectively.

I belong to the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs, and I’m a board advisor to Innosphere, a technology incubator supporting early-stage companies throughout the Front Range.
I received my B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Iowa.
I spend as much time as possible with my wife, Darcy, our two daughters, Lillie and Elise, and our Havanese dog, Goofy. We enjoy traveling together and taking in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
