As the tax leader for the technology practice group within the firm’s services practice, I work alongside our specialty tax practices delivering expertise to navigate federal, state, and international tax issues relevant to the tech industry. My client base is largely comprises multistate technology and tech-enabled service companies with international business operations.
With more than 10 years of tax advisory experience in tech, my clients appreciate that I’m always thinking years ahead in advising them, in addition to taking care of their current needs. When I’m presenting to them, I’m focused on helping position them for long-term success based on their growth and exit strategies.
I love that I learn something new every day and always have new opportunities to progress in my career. I’m particularly proud of developing strong client relationships and helping my team members advance and grow. Around the office, I’m known for my whiteboarding sessions.
I have a M.Acc. from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder and belong to the Colorado Society of CPAs.
When I’m not at work, you can find me listening to music. My wife and I have gone to dozens of concerts together, and we both enjoy expanding our collection of classic rock vinyl records, which I started in high school. We also love cooking, golf, and going on scuba diving trips. I’m a diehard Denver Broncos fan.
