As a wealth management principal, I serve individuals and families and help them build and manage a comprehensive plan that incorporates all aspects of their financial life. No matter how complex their financial situation is, I assist them with major life transitions, such as retirement, divorce, and elder care planning.
This profession is really about relationships — with colleagues as well as clients. The reason I was attracted to this field was the ability to work with people in a very personal capacity at a firm that has the client's best interests at heart. I truly love and appreciate the relationships I’ve developed with my clients. In my time with Plante Moran, I’ve also enjoyed helping staff build their own careers. Being able to grow and shape our team has been a wonderful journey and accomplishment.
I earned my B.A. in finance from Michigan State University. A proud MSU grad, I also belong to the West Michigan Spartans. I served on the board of directors for Grace’s Table from 2019 to 2021.
I'm married to my husband, Dave, and we have two kids, Gavin and Genevieve, and a giant blue Great Dane, Moose. I've always loved to read. Shauna Niequist is one of my favorite authors. Cooking for family and friends is one of my love languages. Traveling, especially internationally, is a passion of mine that I don't do enough. If I could head to the UK tomorrow, I would.
