As a vice president at Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa, Marc brings to the team more than 20 years of project management experience from his involvement in a range of multi-million-dollar higher education, K-12 education, restaurant, retail, senior living, and infrastructure projects.
Marc’s leadership abilities complement his drive to foresee and overcome project challenges from conception through closeout. By building genuine relationships with owners, contractors, and architects/engineers, Marc brings development teams together to prevent schedule and budget setbacks during planning and construction.
Marc was one of the lead project managers on the Little Caesars Arena project, the capstone of The District Detroit development revitalizing 50 blocks of downtown Detroit into a walkable urban destination. He’s currently working on the bond programs for several school districts in Michigan — Grand Rapids Public Schools, Lansing School District, and Harbor Springs Public Schools.
Prior to joining PMR, Marc worked as a construction project manager at several construction companies, including Wolverine Building Group, Triangle Associates, The Christman Company, and Granger Construction. His leadership distinguished his roles during a variety of projects varying in size from less than $1 million to nearly $90 million. Marc’s early career displayed his growing proficiencies through excellent relationship development and thoughtful involvement with members on his development teams.
Marc earned his master’s degree in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in construction management and interior design from Eastern Michigan University. He is a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and has a MIOSHA Safety Certification.
