As a vice president with Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF), David brings six years of seniors housing, healthcare, real estate, and investment consulting experience to the development advisory team. He assists clients with financial modeling and project data analysis for new development and expansion projects.
David aims to be responsive and put client needs first in any engagement. Because of his past operational experience within seniors housing, he empathizes with and can effectively analyze clients’ challenges from an operator’s point of view and offer clear solutions. He appreciates how his role allows him to collaborate with different functions and teams on a project, which he believes contributes to a successful outcome for clients.
David joined PMLF from Senior Lifestyle, a senior living owner, operator, and developer in Chicago, Ill., where he worked on the asset management team. During his time there, David managed the financial performance of a seniors housing portfolio consisting of 23 properties across three different investor relationships. He developed community budgets and forecasts, supported the field operations staff with expense management issues, served as the relationship manager for investor partnerships, and developed internal reporting tools for financial management. Prior to Senior Lifestyle, David helped healthcare clients improve processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) at Huron Consulting Group, a global professional services firm in Chicago, Ill.
David has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, where he majored in economics.
