As a senior consultant at Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa, David brings 18 years of experience in the construction industry to the program management team. He supports clients’ capital projects by offering owner's representation on a wide range of both public sector and corporate projects. As an owner’s representative, David specializes in the development of project schedules, budgets, bidding processes as well as design and construction oversight.
David joined the firm from Affiliated Construction Services (ACS), where he was the lead project engineer for multiple industrial projects throughout Southeast Michigan. Prior to ACS, he was as associate director of the facilities management program at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, working on a portfolio with over 2 million square feet of space of schools, camps, office buildings, and theaters. He also held a program management position with Concentra, Inc., focusing on medical office buildouts and renovations across the United States as well as the corporate rebranding strategy of over 300 locations.
David’s list of notable projects includes Bloomfield Hills Schools capital bond / sinking fund programs, Birmingham Public Schools capital bond program, large scale renovation projects and ground up construction projects David has also preformed multiple facility condition assessments for a variety of clients including K-12, corporate, senior living and municipalities.
Clients appreciate that David dedicates himself to the success of their projects. While working on a project for ACS at Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc., David received an acknowledgement for his hard work and dedication to project, an award usually given to internal staff only.
David has a Bachelor of Science in construction management from Michigan State University.
